Re: Anyone know how they do it? Skipping SB on party
shes talking about when it does not deal him in for the sb and you are on his direct left, it deals you your sb and the next person their bb, therefore you never have to pay your bb. So instead of UTG BB SB Button you get UTG SB Button. Obviously a HUGE advantage.

Re: Anyone know how they do it? Skipping SB on party
this happens to me alot if i join the table as BB but forget to check auto post.
or you could skip both and just get up before the BB, sit back down, and then post from late position. thats got to be +EV |

that annoying eff schiesf (or something similar, or maybe something way different that starts with S) used to only play one orbit so he could just post the CO over and over, when asked why he replied 'i'm a pro, this saves me $1000s'

If you skip the blinds and button you are paying 0.143sb/hand but you don't ever get to play the most profitable position at the table. In a 1/3 structure you are actually spending more to only post the CO and play 7 hands, 0.143sb/hand versuse 0.133sb/hand for a full table. This strategy would only be noticably profitable in a 2/3 structure. |

to turn that right around, wouldnt a winning player look at his PT and come to the same realization we all just did? It looks like this guy is either a marginal winner or marginal loser who thinks he plays well, from this sort of bayesianish analysis. [/ QUOTE ] HIYO, bayesian BURN! This guy sounds like a real bonafide hasidic jew. |
