I'd raise. He would certainly call with a worse hand. I don't know what to do if he 3-bets you.

It's a 2 for 1 proposition. If you raise then he knows that you have exactly one pair of aces, probably AK since you capped preflop (you would have bet the turn with AQ). Thus you win 1 extra bet when ahead (or 0 if he folds) and lose 2 when behind, assuming that you call a 3 bet. I think that you would have to call a 3 bet since from his perspective he can safely reraise with AK.
Of course, all this assumes that he's a thinking player which is a dangerous assumption. I raise/call. Lost Wages |
