That river card isn't that awful. Call, especially given your read (or lack thereof).

You're right I guess it isnt that bad, it just seems like everytime that ace hits like that I'm always beat, it could just be variance though.

I much prefer betting the river and folding to a raise given our limited knowledge of this guy.

P.S. I am strongly opposed to check/folding.

When our knowledge is that he's 30/30 (generally aggressive), I prefer checking to induce a bluff from missed hearts, QJ, etc., rather than betting.

if he'll pay you off with K9, KT, JT sorts of hands I like betting better too. Do you think he would? I think JQ is calling for sure.

Call, you only have to win the pot about 10% of the time for a call to be correct. Given that he is very agressive... Call.

He'd have to be awfully "creative" to raise the river as a bluff, and a relative unknown isn't often enough to make me worry about folding.

Given what we know of him, I believe he'll call more often than he'll bet. I almost never try to induce bluffs out of position without a clear read that the guy is bluff-happy.

He won't bluff with QJ. He might value bet it, but he'll almost surely call with it.

Given the fact that he seems so aggro preflop it would make me think that he would bet here a lot more than he would call. I think I like this line a lot against someone who isn't very aggro (this guy may not be though, remember we dont have much of a read that he is aggro)
