I prob play it the same way, as lond as nobody is extremely likely to slow-play TPTK or something. Nice hand IMO

I think you played this hand fine. With no one showing aggression on the flop or turn I think your bets on the turn and river were good. Occasionally someone will be slowplaying an Ace, but usually not. I find, at the .50/1.00 tables, anytime someone pairs their Ace they usually will bet out. With only one non-aggressive player at the river and an extremely weak board you did the right thing betting your 9's. Hope this helped.

Quick alteration if you were MP3 or button with this (or K9s for better preflop play) would you bet?

i dont like the river bet. what hands do we beat he calls with? Maybe he folds a 9/weak kicker, but with a pot size of 4.5 it isnt worth it. If he isnt very loose, i would just check.

If you check the river, would you call a bet?

I think you played it perfectly. Bet and fold to any raise. After the flop checks through, it's hard to tell what anyone has. Could just be flush draws, straight draws, etc that they picked up on the turn. If you check this river you're just asking for someone to take a stab at it, and you almost have to call then. Well played.
