I'm not great in these tough situations. I like your call down though. If the raiser was a passive preflop player, I'd be a bit more concerned. With a PF 3-bettor, I think you'll see KK, JJ, and AK enough times to call down.

EDIT: And you likely have 2 good outs. That accounts for about 1/3 of what you need to call down.

Default RESULTS

Button has JJ and MHIG.

I'm also interested in button's play. I like his turn raise, presumably with him folding to a 3-bet.

What do you think about his JJ 3-bet preflop?

What about the river bet? Can he really bet for value here, or should he try for a free showdown?

(edited replacing CO with button)

JJ is the 4th best hand in holdem and he has position, its an almost automatic 3-bet.

River value bet is good since you only you called and checked to him on the river.
I'll assume you only cap reasonable hands preflop.
If he knows this he might be able to check it through.

I like buttons play, except for the flop call.

Button's PF and turn play are good. He should have raised the flop, but calling is better than folding since he has implied odds to spike a J. I think he should have taken the free showdown. He's got to hope you went this far with AK.
