I like the checkraise. I usually lead the turn if I get it HU against button.

c/r is good.
bet the turn if heads-up.

you'll make back 100 bets in a good 2 hours.

checkraise goot

This is a good play, I use it frequently. The button is the most likely to be betting a shitty hand just because of his position, and the bet/checkraise is going to frequently fold a better T who would have peeled the flop. You get it HU with the guy least likely to have a hand.

check raise is only good if u can expect loose passive donks in LATE POSITION to bet it. Bet the flop, any gutshots that call are already making a mistake and it would be horrible to have this checked through.

I like the checkraise, Too many hands will peel if you bet the flop and your hand is vulnerable

[/ QUOTE ]

Most hands w/o a Q are making a mistake calling your bet in this small pot. T w/ a lower kicker are making a mistake calling this pot. A check raise does what? Make it more wrong for them to call? And u risk it getting checked around as well. Sounds like a good plan. By leading out, gutshots, bottom pair and mid pair lower kicker are not getting the odds they need (bottom pair probably has the implied odds maybe as they would need to make up at least 1,5bbs on the turn.).

This is a pretty easy flop bet.

There are 4 people to act behind you in a 6-max game. This gets checked through like NEVER.

So I can check-raise a late position bettor and play poker if someone to my left bets. The point is that I am almost never giving infinite odds to a gutshot here...

I just don't think that I can be scared of it checking through.

So u fully expect the LP passive donk to bet this for u? Everytime?

Leading out is soooo much stronger and is definitly the money play here. By the way I play a lot of 6max and I see more than a few of these flops get checked through by donks.

100 big bet downswings are absurdly common in short-handed, so you'll need to get used to the feeling. Bet the flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

How much of a downswing starts to become uncommon in short-handed? Just want to prepare myself...
