i think for calcuttaing and side betting, we should collect all the $ in advance, except for the live thing. this will allow people who aren't there to participate, and make it so that there's no money collection issues.

I will organize just ONE Calcutta for the *STTF-HUC-II*. It will be a 32-spot ($50/entry) Blind-Draw Calcutta.

Anybody (all Sttf'ers welcome) who wants to play can xfer $50 to me on Party or Stars...PM me for account info.

Anybody can buy more than one entry. If we don't get 32 paid entries,
I will buy all the remaining spots so that we have a prize pool of $1,550; ($50 vig)....Once all the spots are purchased there will be a "blind draw" performed by 66's / Slacker progeny so that each participant will now "own" one (or more) of the *STTF-HUC-II* players.

McPherzen won the *STTF-HUC-I* BDC and I'm sure he will attest to the pleasure of that little "BooYah"

I was a little surprised that nobody offerred to "buy" an existing spot last year; but given the level of understanding/sobriety, I guess it makes sense.

ToRepeat: All Forum participants are welcome to play the Blind-Draw-Calcutta regardless of whether they are going to the event or not....It's a pretty cheap ($50) way to participate even if you can't manage to be there.

I will not organize either of the other Calcutta's this time around...Way too much effort required &/or nobody seemed to "get-off' on the whole thing anyway (Thank You Gigabet)....If somebody else wants to take a stab; "knock yourself out"

I'll be happy to use the old calcutta site again to organize a regular calcutta. However, I don't want to put the money up (at least not all of it). So I can either "buy" all the initial entries for $0, which would be really lame, or one or more people can help me put up the initial funds.

Any comments/suggestions about this as well as stakes, payout strucutre, etc would be welcome.
I'm gonna stay busy for a few weks, so likely, the calcutta won't be ready to go for a while anyway.

Let's Boogie Mark me down for the opening Bid of $50 on all of the entrants...I would suggest bid-increments = $10

The BLIND-DRAW-CALCUTTA will have all $$$$ in and Drawing for Players conducted within the next day or two....Everyone will know who their horse is and I will have approximately 2 months to figure-out where I'm gonna get the $1,550 that I collected/pissedaway.

The "Live-Action Calcutta" will not close until either Fri.night(2/17) or "cards-in-the-air" depending on a vote of the participants; therefore I cannot collect the $$$ until then.

The "Side-Bet Action" will be conducted between the participants and "tracked" by Grekehaus on his website. Collections/payoffs/stiffing will be up to the participant bettors.

Got it?
