Re: Continuation bets at 200$ NL
[ QUOTE ]
i'm betting 2/3-3/4 pot on 2/3-3/4 of all flops. [/ QUOTE ] On all flops or just the ones where you was preflop raiser? If you sometimes check vs lonely opponent when you raised preflop shouldnt you mix in a few slowplays too vs good opposition? I very rarely slowplay or checkraise. Checkraising gives away so much strength in my view. Betting into someone just says that you dont want more cards to come cheap it is often the opposite of strength. |

Re: Continuation bets at 200$ NL
usually on flops where i'm the preflop raiser, or if the flop is favorable to my hand (this might also just mean that the flop is bad for the range of hands i have him on). And yes i do check on the flops when i hit as well. I've really been working on consistency recently regarding my betting patterns. I don't really check-raise very often either, at least not heads up usually. I'll check raise if i have a set for example and i check, someone bets and it gets called in 1-2+ places. Then i'll raise it up
Also, i rarely slowplay unless it is very unlikely i am to be drawn out upon. However, recently in blind battles i've been slow playing alot esp against aggressive players. This is great when you check tp on the flop and he bets into you on turn and then you check-raise river (if you still feel you're ahead.) |
