i think you played it well
if you always try and check raise your made hands...people will not respect your bets..esp after leading..a check on a pair looks suspicious..it'll get checked around lead out and keep hammering..just like you did...the other nice thing is this allows you to get respect for your lead bets in later hands..you might steal some pots Brian |

this is yeat another reason why you should bet this out! (now to check raise for value the bet has to be to your left) just bet. jam..and stack your chips Brian |

[/ QUOTE ] Check-raising is mostly for protecting your hand (meaning your hand is marginal), but in this case you've got a monster, just play straightforward. Also, it's used to build up big pots by trapping players with an extra bet. In this case, it doesn't look like anybody wiil bet out for you to raise, so just bet it and play straightforward. |
