3 table sng bubble ($5)
Blinds are 150/300, going up soon.
Button here has been pretty aggressive, and I've been card dead for a while so I've been folding for the most part. Button (t9740) Hero SB (t4500) BB (t8390) UTG (t3370) MP (t5540) CO (t13460) Hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the small blind with t4350. folded to button. Button bets 1050, Hero..? The other 2 short stacks were relatively active, meaning they were limping a lot. Which makes stealing a bit more difficult (for me anyways). Up to this point it was rare for it to be folded around to me when I was Button or CO. I think I can 'survive' into the money here pretty often, but 4th is about the best I could expect. |

Re: 3 table sng bubble ($5)
i would normally fold here. Can argue for a resteal here, given your read of the button being pretty aggressive. You can really only do this if you feel confident that the BB will fold.

Re: 3 table sng bubble ($5)
If there hasn't been a lot of stealing, it is not great for a resteal, even if button has been aggressive.
The chip position and proze structure encourages a gamble. Sometimes, you want to play real tight rather than gamble and lose a good shot at 2nd or 3rd place. Here, you need more chips for a decent finish. You have some pot odds and folding equity. It is unlikely BB has you dominated. I would push. |
