Re: good call or ridiculous?
Ok I'll reply to the actual hands..
Preflop call is bad but I may call it in the C/O or OTB but whatever... Flop I would just call like you did with people to act behind me and bringing worse flush draws along. Turn is good to put pressure on flop better that you or the player behind you has a very strong hand. I would bet pot here as well. River is good because a hand that can beat 3 Aces would have raised the turn because of the flush draw so you can safely assume he has a worse draw than you. You have the best kicker as well which is nice. You then pull out my favorite move in PLO which is inducing a bluff from a busted draw which is exactly what he had. Plus your read of tilt and bad play make this easily the best way to play this hand...except preflop but in PLO it is much more of postflop play other than that nasty LHE that is bad preflop play leading to postflop mistakes. |

Re: good call or ridiculous?
I think the preflop call with three broadway cards and a suited ace is automatic. Is this why my PLO results have gone down the toilet recently?

[/ QUOTE ] Hi Nicky, At the lower limits (upto $200PL) its fine as you normally get 6 limpers and no pfr. I have only dabbled in $400 and above but position starts to become much more important and there are much less limped pots therefore I probably throw this away upfront. |
