Did you lose to KJ?

There is no good reason to 3-bet this flop. I'm okay with losing my stack here.

its not a draw heavy board. Let's not lose those one pair hands. And the let's bluff w/ air.

on the SB, J2/J3s certainly aren't impossible in $25NL.

we'll discount the possibility he's an uber-rock and limps JJ.

You beat: Jx, mainly AJ, KJ, QJ

You lose to: J2s, J3s the remaining combination each of 22 and 33.

Seeing as you have to put in $16 to win $47, or 3:1, I'd call it, but be ready to reload. I reckon your odds before the turn are about 50/50. J2s and J3s are much more likely to make that bet pattern than AJ (probably have raised PF) or QJ (too weak to 4-bet push)

It was AJ and alas I won. I had the exact same situation 2 weeks ago with the same hand and played it differently, or it just panned out differently.

3 bet on flop is my standard in both hands unless the guy is a rock.

I call his initial raise and lead 3/4 pot into him on turn. If he raises, I make a read, and either push or fold.
Edit: As played, fold after he pushes after your 3bet.
