Default The $90 Poker Bonus seems to be...

.... untouchable until you clear it.
This used to be easy at the juicy 1/2 Omaha games.
These dried up when they put in the lower limits.
So I take it you can play with the bonus in the casino, but not in the poker room??

Why are people playing Pontoon when Double Bonus VP has a house advantage of .06%?

I'll try that next month, does wizard of odds have the optimal play for that too?

I started pontoon last month, and have lost the bonus both months in a row so far. Is that typical?

No, wiz doesn't have an optimal strat for playing it. It's similar pay table to Microgaming's Aces & Faces where everything in DB is either better or equal to except 3 of a kind (A&F MG pays 3 while DB Crypto pays 2).

I'm not going to lie to you, DB is high variance since their top hand payoffs are better, but I enjoy playing VP so it's the route I take.

Crypto reports that the bonus version of Double Bonus has a return of 99.99% I've been playing that but I don't care for it too much. The cards you discard go back into the deck and if you draw one of those cards on your hands, then you get paid a certain amount (I believe it's 7 cents per card). Wiz said it's useless to write software for it to give an actual return but I don't see how 7 cents per card adds up enough when you're making worse odds to hit the big wins.

Please excuse my confusion. I have only played poker at Inter.
Do I have this right? You can deposit $90, and get a $90 match , giving you $180 immediately usable. Then gamble in the casino. If you lose $90, you can withdraw your original $90, thereby losing nothing. You can then do this the next month, also. However, do you now need to meet the wagering requirement for both months before you could withdraw the bonus? Also, in a future month, even if you haven't met the wr, could you play poker with no obligation other than the 8x raked? Thanks.

Yeah. Pontoon is has a very high variance. I did this bonus last month and this month -- last month I lost the bonus, this month I finished it +120. Part of the reason that the variance is so high is because the minmum bet is 5, not 1 (for whatever reason).

Meh at the VP clearing, unless it clears as fast (or faster) than Pontoon does. I can bang this out in a couple of hours flat-betting the minimum.

Well, it all depends on your bet size but I just cleared William Hill's initial bonus (2000 WR which is 250 less than Inter) and it took about 30 minutes @ $12.50 per spin min betting (25 cent coins, 10 lines, max coins).

Inter has a min of 10 cent coins. So using my average of 5.3 spins per minute from WH, it would take me about 85 minutes to complete.

I love using that bonus on Video Poker, it clears quickly and gives me my monthly VP fix.

[/ QUOTE ]

How quickly does it clear?

You have wager $2250 to clear a $90 bonus?

3 handed VP at $0.25 max bet = $3.75 per hand.

$2250/$3.75 = 600 hands.

Doesn't seem too quick.

Also I think there's a good chance you're broke before you make it to to 600 hands, no?

I play blackjack and vary my bets so it clears for me in 1 1/2 hours or less. Been as fast as 45 minutes, when betting big. Deposit 90 and get 90 and this is June's results:

You vary your bets how much?

What's the min and max you'll bet per hand?
