And this is why the squeeze play works so well.

If your read is accurate on BB, I am not too concerned with what he has here. He just called off 30% of his stack pf and is likely pushing here on any two [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], any made pair, any two overs....or, hell, anything on a stop and go.

If your read is accurate on Button, I think a reraise all-in isolates BB and pushes Button off of his Ax/KQ type hand.

I push and expect to be ahead of a flush draw, top pair or overcards (at which point I break out the prayer beads and start workin' em pretty hard).

Since you posted this, Button probably hit a hand and his aggro image paid off...

Posting w/out reading responses..

This one is tricky not because of BB but because of the button. Those little raises tend to mean a strong pair that will call your push over the top instantly. They can sometimes be AK or some other crap but I really feel you're behind button here.. you say he's aggro but has he been reraising a decent amount?

I think I can find the muck here..

i think the chances that the button has an overpair are reasonably high

Why is this? As I read OP, you pegged him as "very" aggro. To my mind this makes his range far more inclusive than 1010-AA. I think you either have to trust your read or revaluate your criteria if you put him on overs when he reraises with position pf.

btw, does anyone push pre-flop

[/ QUOTE ]

I considered this (again because of your reads), but with 99 I am just interested enough in seeing a flop.

i may have read too much into the small 3bet pre-flop. i wasn't paying a ton of attention (damn multi-tabling...) but his preflop stats were something like 38% vol. put $ in and 25% PFR. BB was 48/0.

but i think that villain does play JJ+ this way - i just may have underestimated how many other hands he'd play that way.

Do you recall this guy's SN? THAT is information I could use.

With this information, I probably would have pushed pf under the assumption that I am pushing any non-paint flop from up front and want to utilize some FE here before he has a chance to connect with his KJo crap.
