How long will Stan the Man last in Miami before Riley takes over.

Stan is the only guy I root for in the NBA. It would be terrible if he got fired.

For those who don't know the story, I was the team manager (videotaped games, random jobs) of the UMass-Lowell basketball team during my freshmen year of college. The head coach was Stan Van Gundy. The very next season he went to Iowa and, to the astonishment of everybody at UMass, worked his way up to become an NBA coach.

So you knew him back when he was still just Ron Jeremy's stunt double?

lmao

Good guy, but I don't know if he can handle all the star-power the Heat have. IMO he cost them the Finals last year with some of the coaching moves he made down the stretch. Very smart basketball guy though.

I think this joke needs to be retired. I groan whenever I here SVG mentioned because I know this line is coming. It had a good run, but lets let it go before it gets any more obnoxious than it already has.

WTG guys, you were wrong! Praise Jesus, Shaq's back, and we got a coach who can handle our star power...need to make a new poll on how far the Heat will go this year.

Edit: LOL, he didn't even last a month after this poll
