Say what you will about the Taj, but...

Taj 5/10 last night.

Complete doucebag tool (CDT or maybe CDBT) is just finished steaming over this "bad beat" of losing pocket Kings to AQ. The hand happened 20 minutes ago, but I think he has recovered because he put his sunglasses back on, after he took them off to stare down the raiser.

Anyway, the dealer deals a hand and before his action, CDT asks to cash in some of his reds for a black chip.

Ok, annoying, but I can deal with it, once.

The next hand, before his action, CDT asks for 3 green chips for some reds.

I feel the hair on my neck rise and I interject,

Me: Hey man, why you doing that?
CDT: I'm leaving when my blinds come. Its ok.
Me: Yeah, but it's really slowing the game up for the rest of the players.
CDT: Its my right to do so.
Me: Yeah, but the other thing is, which I know you haven't noticed, is that the dealers work on tips and the more hands they deal, the more tips. (Dealer smiles at me)
CDT: Wahh wahh, (makes crying motion with hands), cry about it some more.

Me: (Gus Hansen face contemplating a call, in other words, completely dumbfounded, who does that?)
Alright man, {profanity} you, you should seriously consider killing yourself. (I know a little harsh, another suspected 2+2'er laughs, and a few other people smile)

CDT: Dealer, have him removed for swearing.
Dealer: Im sorry, I didn't hear anything.
CDT: Fine then, {profanity} you too then and {profanity} your mother too.

The floorman who was casually witnessing this whole charade walks over...
Floor to CDT : Sir, that language and your attidude is unacceptable. This is your first and last warning.
CDT: But, he (pointing at me) was swearing too.
Floor to dealer: Is that true?
Dealer: No, I don't think so.

CDT: I'm leaving anyways.


Yeah, its all paraphrased from memory, but I got a kick out of it. I'm by no means a regular, but I'm not a CDT. For this and other reasons, the Taj is my kind of place.
