Should I have dumped this preflop?

Really felt like I got sucked in on this one.

UTG calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, SB calls, Hero calls, <font color="#CC3333">UTG 3-bets</font>, MP1 folds, Button calls, SB calls, Hero calls.

SSHE says that against a raise, BB should play any two cards that would be played in late position for a single bet (I looked it up while the hand was in progress heh), which includes QTo. Then the limp re-raise came in from behind. It was a still a single bet back to me, so I gritted my teeth and called again, even though it went against my better judgement to do so.

Am I confused the principle here? If so, please explain.

SSHE says [pgs 81 and 83] in BB against a raise Play: same hands that you would play from late position for one bet, except remove the weak offsuit hands AT, KJ-KT, QJ-QT and JT.

You were right to do so. The pot odds justified a call when it was 7:1; with the reraise the odds are now 12:1. You'll need to hit this flop pretty solidly to stick around afterwards, but you've got the odds to go hunting.
