Yeah, next time I'll read the board more closely. But given the proportion of his range that these two hands represent, I'd still raise here.

Unfortunately, I don't really know how I should weight these for Villain (and his range may be wider than what follows too), but here are some combos on the turn:

AJ = 16
KJ = 16
JJ = 6

AQ = 4
KQ = 4
AT = 12
TT = 3
99 = 3
88 = 3

To be honest, it didn't occur to me until I was thinking about the hand afterwards that AJ was double-gutted on the flop.

I raised and then called down. And then afterwards, I wondered if I had gotten carried away.

Here's the whole hand:

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, UTG calls.

Flop: (7.40 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.70 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

<font color="#0000FF">I considered just calling the turn, but then I thought, "No, if you're going to do that, you should have just capped the flop." I don't know if this is the best reasoning -- if I knew a 9 was going to fall next, I wouldn't be as eager to cap the flop either -- but that's what I told myself.</font>

River: (12.70 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, Hero calls.

<font color="#0000FF">I'm hoping for a lower set, at this point.</font>

Final Pot: 14.70 BB

Results:
UTG has Kd Jd (straight, king high).
Hero has Qd Qc (three of a kind, queens).
Outcome: UTG wins 14.70 BB.

I wasn't running so well at this table, but, by the way, it was sort of fun to watch Villain and the table's 71/32 guy go at it sometimes. Here's one example (Villain is Button in this one):

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO 3-bets</font>, Button calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP3 calls.

Flop: (10.40 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP3 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 caps</font>, CO folds, Button calls.

Turn: (10.20 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP3 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 3-bets</font>, Button calls.

River: (16.20 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP3 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP3 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button caps</font>, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 24.20 BB

Results:
MP3 has 3c Kc (full house, kings full of threes).
Button has Ah 4h (flush, ace high).
Outcome: MP3 wins 24.20 BB.

Their antics messed with my reads a little, though, since I'm not sure Villain was as inclined to press as hard versus the non-71/32 players at the table. For instance, here's another QQ hand versus me:

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, BB calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.20 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, BB folds.

Final Pot: 4.20 BB

But maybe the biggest distinction is in fact that Villain didn't have a draw in that one. I don't know.
