Re: is this somthing i should lay down
didnt realise i could have raised so much more. and u think i should lead out with pot bet on flop and not worry about a set? i generaly dont raise max on a re raise because it just pushs everyone out and i loose ALL my action with big hands

Re: is this somthing i should lay down
this is why you reraise a lot preflop
chop down his set value (if he's paired) EDIT: i think you should raise to 10 preflop but on the flop, i'm not sure if you should pot it nemore... there is the flush and straight possibilities what do other posters think? maybe 1/2 , 2/3?? |

Re: is this somthing i should lay down
10 is an incredibly huge raise in the party poker 50 pl games, there would be no need for a bet on the flop because he would not call

Re: is this somthing i should lay down
Raise more preflop and don't give him 10:1 odds on the flop.

Re: is this somthing i should lay down
This has been covered, but it needs to be reiterated since you seem to be skeptical.
Raise the max preflop. This is not debatable. Bet the max or very close to it (i.e. 80% or more) on the flop Also not debatable Pay off the big hand on the turn. You still have a few outs anyway. |
