Are river calls like this bad bad bad?
Villian is 32/9 over 50 or so hands so meh
Looking back at this hand there's nothing here I beat on the river and I should have folded. If the river was a non diamond (like 6 of clubs) would that turn the river fold into a river call? You could bet/fold. He could very well be bluffing at the scare card since you checked to him....

You must fold the river against this opponent. He at least has a pair. If I had more of a feel for his post-flop play, I might find a check-fold on the turn, but I'd probably bet the turn most of the time (like OP).
