Default Account Wagering to be legalized in Washington

According to this article. This specifically is aimed at horse racing, but the logic is much the same to allow poker as well (bets to be made and paid with online account; very hard to enforce current law). Unfortunately, there isn't a strong lobby of poker enthusiasts to hammer a bill through the Legislature...I would wager (heh) that the local NA tribes and other casino owners would be against it, thinking that it would dampen their business (for me it is just the opposite- I win enough money at small stakes online that I can afford to go play slightly higher limits in live casinos. All in all, it is encouraging to see SOME progress being made against the draconian gambling laws.
