Any comments on 9.5 gram Deluxe Diamond Chips?
I've used the 11.5 gram chips, and I don't like them because of the weight and the sound they make. I've heard some places that the diamond chips have a better overall feel and sound to them. Can anybody back this up? Also they're real cheap, .09 per chip on 5stardeal.com.

Re: Any comments on 9.5 gram Deluxe Diamond Chips?
The 9g chips are very playable. They're not quite as fancy as some of the 11.5g chips and you'll get less "ooooh, ahhhh" from your freinds, but that last about 10 seconds anyway.
They're reliably stackable and much easier to handle then the old plastic chips. They're worth the investment if you have a regular game going. Get some racks to go with them and you're good to go. |

Re: Any comments on 9.5 gram Deluxe Diamond Chips?
I've never used the 11.5 gm chips so i cant really comment on the difference but I've been using the 9.5 diamond chips for the last 6 years in my weekly home game and cant think of a bad thing to say about them
for 9c a chip i think they're well worth the investment Also i think...but im not sure some sites offer sample of 10 chips for a couple of bucks, so maybe just get a sample pack before ordering a large amount Just my 9 cents Gahnia radula |

Re: Any comments on 9.5 gram Deluxe Diamond Chips?
I've got a set of those and I'm very happy with them. As someone else said, they are not fancy. They don't make a big first impression. But the chips play better than the 11.5g chips. The chips stack and handle well.
They have a 1000 chip set plus racks for $100. 5star does sell the same set on Ebay. Most auctions go for $70-$80 including sipping. |
