Default \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (8/24)

Tonight's show is the return of the "high-roller" 400/800 limit game which looks like it'll be a weekly feature of the show. This week's show will have Yosh Nakano, Tim Phan, Jerry Buss, Gabe Kaplan and others. The press release from earlier today mentioned Tuan Le, Shawn Sheikhan, Frank Hong and a "mystery guest" to round out the lineup. For those that want to follow the action, you can go to the "new" website of www.liveatthebike.com or put http://216.53.204.10/bike/bike_300.asx into your Windows Media Player. Expected commentators tonight are that dynamic duo of Bart Hanson/David Tuchman, unless Shirley busts out of the Legends All Around Points tournament early.

I noticed the higher the limits, the more chance of seeing babes sweating the action.

This will be good. Looking forward to watching Mr. Kotter play some high limit.

I wonder if this will be one of those nights where we'll want to hear the table talk as much as possible.

I have to admit, Kotter was pretty good announcing the
HEADS UP tourney. And frankly, accept for some moments, I'm getting tired of watching Final Table six handed all-in fests.
Tactical poker is much more interesting.

How long has it been since Gabe has been "Mr. Kotter". I mean, a lot of people reading this weren't even born yet, were they? What years did he have his series on?

I thought "hey I know how to google!"

Welcome back Kotter aired from 1975 to 1979.
