Default two more quick ones - I\'m playing weak, dang!

I rarely EVER play this weak, don't know why I'm giving these players so much credit. Just got moved to this table, so again, no reads. I usually limp with JJ and AK in early position to see if I get raised and see where I'm at:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Hero (t1000)
UTG (t1860)
UTG+1 (t1630)
MP1 (t2510)
MP2 (t1935)
MP3 (t1760)
CO (t670)
Button (t1615)
SB (t840)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero calls t30, 5 folds, CO calls t30, Button raises to t100, SB calls t70, Hero calls t70, CO calls t70.

Flop: (t415) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets t200, SB folds, Hero folds, CO folds.

Final Pot: t615

MP2 (t1660)
MP3 (t1225)
CO (t1935)
Button (t1760)
SB (t685)
BB (t1660)
UTG (t1210)
UTG+1 (t870)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero calls t30, MP1 raises to t95, 6 folds, Hero calls t65.

Flop: (t235) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets t40, Hero calls t40.

hand 1: i'd either --

a) re-raise preflop to get the hand heads up and lead any flop OR
b) call the raise preflop and lead the flop for 1/2 the pot and re-evaluate if met with signficant resistance.

hand 2: i'm definitely check-raising that very weak flop bet ... if i get re-raised, i can confidently fold. given the way the hand was played, i can't really call that large turn bet.

O.K., I was getting pissed at how unlike me I was playing, decided to switch gears. I pull AK in the SB, MP raises 3x BB, so I push. I pushed because I really thought he had AQ-AT, maybe mid pocket pair, and I was correct when he showed A9h. I'm up to approx. T2300 now and breathing a little easier.

Still would like your comments.

I don't like limping with JJ or AK, only time I ever do this is if there is a very aggressive player behind me who i expect to raise, so I can repop him. I actually prefer playing JJ much more aggressive than AA or KK, as it is easy for overcards to flop.

Just my opinion, take it for what its worth

ononimo,

thanks for the help. I know for a fact, since I haven't played a MTT on PP for a while, sticking mostly to Full Tilt and Stars, that the T1000 instead of T1500 in starting chips had me shaky to start. I know I have to play correctly and try to get more information in each hand to have a chance to win, which is how I'm trying to play more and more in each tourney.

thanks again!

- Jay
