Aaron Brooks is a cancer
He made no effort at all to avoid safety. He's a loser, plain and simple.

Re: Aaron Brooks is a cancer
I'm convinced he's legitimately retarded. I did enjoy the drive where he had a stupid intentional grounding followed two plays later by an excellent TD pass. I'd enjoy it a lot better if they [censored] covered. Nice tie, Madden.

Re: Aaron Brooks is a cancer
Then, he belongs right where he is. Though, strangely, the Saints record with Brooks as QB since 2000 looks a lot better than it was before.

Brooks is neither the problem nor the solution for the Saints. [/ QUOTE ] He certainly isn't THE problem. He is one of many problems. |

Re: Aaron Brooks is a cancer
If he is a problem, which I'm willing to accept, he's far down on the list. Like, he's #100 or so.

Is there any chance Haslett gets fired before the season ends or am I just engageing in wishful thinking?

Re: Aaron Brooks is a cancer
From profootballtalk
[ QUOTE ] A league source tells us that the Saints have decided to bench quarterback Aaron Brooks. Todd Bouman will start in his place on Sunday against the Panthers. We're told that it was a coaching decision only, and that the move has nothing to do with Brooks' recent criticism of owner Tom Benson. Brooks got the job in 2000, after then-starter Jeff Blake broke a leg. Brooks led the team to a division title, and the first playoff win in franchise history. Brooks then won an open competition with Blake for the position in 2001. The cousin of Michael Vick landed a fat contract after an unexpected holdout in 2002, but his play hardly has merited big-time pay. With $6.25 million in base salary for 2006, Brooks undoubtedly is done as the quarterback in New Orleans. [/ QUOTE ] |
