The Super-Genius Invitational Tournament!

Hey buoys and gulls!

Been doin' some fishin' today! Caught a couple fish! Mostly drank beer tho!

But it gave me an idea...

The Al Capone Junior Invitational Poker Tournament! But that'd be too egotistical of even ME.

So I changed the name to the Super-Genius invitational .

site to be announced.

Stakes will be about $30-$50 to enter. The buy-in will be such as to be compatible with the min buy-in requirements of the site. I have a site in mind, but am waiting for a response email before announcing it. I won't pick any site I don't like. Those that know me know which sites I am talking about.

Game of course will be no limit hold'em. The reason for this is because no site online at this time is capable of holding a mixed games tourament, which I would actually prefer (like the live private live touranments I have organized in the past).

In order to get in the tournament, you'll need to be invited (of course). By me. Al Capone Junior. Tournament director. Star. God. Super-Genius. Super-fish! D'oh! I said the quiet part out loud! Oh well...

I'll have an "exclusive" list of invitees. Ben and J-Lo of course! Oh wait, they're schmucks! Forget that! Anyone and everyone can try to get invited of course, if they have not already gotten an invitation. in order to get invited tho, you'll need to meet one (or more) of these criteria:

1. A minimum of 200 posts of substance. No total newbies!

2. to be extremely popular on the forums!

3. to be extremely hated on the forums!

4. to have been "banned for life" from the forums! (Thomastem's IN, despite him and me doing battle in the past!).

5. to have some redeeming social value* that is obvious to the admissions committee, aka ME! A great new poster might get in, but a total schmuck who's got 985,876 posts might not.

The "assistant" admissions committee shall remain confidential, tho I do have a couple of opinions I will seek on the side for "borderline cases."

What the hey. I am soon going to be mostly playing live, giving the finger to online poker. But I do enjoy the 2+2 events very much, especially KOTZ pot limit, which of course I won!** But the SNGs, and even the KOTZ events I lost, were great fun too. Even after I mostly quit online, I might keep playing some of the 2+2 events.

That's the real point of all this, FUN. If you're NO FUN, you are automatically BANNED FOR LIFE from my invitational tournaments!

I may have a mystery guest or two as well.

** ironically, I entered it just so I could gloat if I won, but then after winning, I didn't feel so much like gloating anymore! It was quite a thrill to win a 2+2 event!

Im pretty new to poker and have been playing basically play money ring games and freeroll tournaments. But i know of a site that actually holds mixed games tournaments quite often if you want to have that kind of tourney.

Just PM me cause i dont want anyone thinking im spamming or anything cause im relatively new.

I am working on a list. Now these forums have about 8,000 or so registered users, so I cannot remember every one who is "worthy." Please do not be offended in your name does not appear when I post the initial invitee list. Anyone who feels they want to play can simply PM me and I'll make a decision.

Note: Anyone with veteran, poobah, or carpal tunnel is automatically going to be given the password, with only one exception that I can think of right now, and I shant mention names.

A few players who don't play much on the internet might not be mentioned either.

I have one "guest villain" already lined up.
