Default different sooted connects

so my poker tracker has substantial losses for me with QJs (I understand why) 98s and 54s... and big wins with 76s and 65s. I've played roughly 100 hands with each - (this is all i have on poker tracker, obviously i've played far more). Can someone tell me why this is?. It is just something that would straighten out with more hands or is 5 6 / 6 7 so much better? and why is 5 4 and 9 8 such big losers? Im guessing it has to do with getting the bottom end of higher straights...unfortunately, thats not what poker tracker says about the hands im losing with... they seem to be just random bluffs? so i would conclude variance? am i concluding correctly?
