Default It\'s easy to grin when your ship comes in...

...once the turn hits, I obviously won the hand...how to maximize value is the question. (sorry no converter, at work)

Party 25NL 6-max
CO (35) - pretty aggro post flop...doing well last night
Hero (button, $28)
SB (25) - no reads, recently sat down

Everybody calls the BB, including me on the button with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Flop (pot 1.50) = K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB donkbets .25, folded to CO who calls, Hero raises to 2, both call

Turn (pot 7.50) = K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB checks, CO checks, Hero bets 4, both call

River (pot 19.50) = 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB checks, CO checks, Hero?

Some thoughts:
I felt the SB liked his hand from the get-go but I couldnt tell how much
This was the first time the CO had been passive since I sat down so I was pretty sure he was drawing

I'm not sure how to handle the turn bet. Assuming my reads are right I wanted to bet enough to keep CO in to draw.

Yes, I know many of the responses will be, "just push, these donks at 25NL will call anyway".

$8. Anyone who was drawing is gone anyway, but a baby flush or trip Ks hopefully bite.

The $8 is for the turn or river?

If river, do you bet more on this turn?

If you're going to raise the flop, raise more. I would prefer a full-pot raise to $3. On the turn, you could probably fit in a slightly larger bet, maybe $5-6 and hopefully the two others will feel like they're getting priced in.

I think that there's actually something to be asked about the river because I'm curious as to what the two villain's have. Obviously, the best hand one of them could have would be a split with the other KQ. However, since this is a 3-way pot, only one of them can be drawing to the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], so unless the other would draw to the J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], it's clear that one of them has a pretty big made hand. I think that a 2/3-3/4 value bet on the end will get paid off by a baby flush, trips or lower FH.

$8 on the river. I like your turn bet, prices in draws.

Thanks -

I bet $9 on river and SB called (J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) and CO folded and said he had A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] draw

Since I wanst totally sure one was drawing, I bet a medium amount that could be called by a baby flush or maybe raised by trip kings or a lower boat. Trying to get 2 medium calls instead of 1 bigger one.

If I pushed this river, do you think the J flush calls here?

absolutely.

Also, why no raise preflop on the button with weak limpers?

push river, flush will call...possibly a naked K. "value betting" loses value.

it's not much of a pot overbet with those stacks. this is NL...use it to your advantage.
