Default Horseshoe Tunica - 20/40 & higher

How many 20/40 tables do they have going on a typical weekend day/night? Are they spreading any higher games these days (other than during big tourneys?)

Thx.

The last time I was there, the only that had 20-40 was Horseshoe (and it was usually just one table). One of the days they had a 30-60 instead (15-30 and 30-60 instead of the usual 10-20/20-40 combo). The action was very good in this game however, and I rock is often used which makes it even better. Horseshoe is a nice place to play, check out the steak house and buffet if u can. Rooms are great too.

Unless things have changed, it's usually 1 20/40 table but 2 tables is not uncommon. That's the highest they regularly spread but the action in that game is incredible.

Weekends? Usually one or two with 20/40 being the highest limit game spread. Pot limit Omaha is the "big game" in that room.

Figure like this. Tunica is in the middle of "no where". You don't have a large population base from which players will just "drop in" to play a little 20/40.

This game is often described as one that's "played like a $4/8" game, action-wise.

My buddy and I were discussing it this weekend, and he said "It's like the players can't help themselves. SOMEBODY is trying to put a play on EVERY single pot!"

If you're planning on going there this weekend be sur eto check on rooms. I have one for this Saturday night. I have a regular room and it is 419.00 a night!! YIKES!!

I made sure I'd be able to get the poker rate of 35 dollars. I'm still a little nervous they'll give me crap about it.

The answer I got form her was that rates changed on availability. Kinda vague I thought. Either way I'm a bit surprised that I still get it for 35$.
