Default Three thousand dollars and a bag full of dreams

Assuming you had two thousand dollars, a computer, and an internet connection and absolutely nothing else, what would you do in order to play 30/60.

Absolutely nothing, except a copy of SSHE you've read a million times, and having lurked on 2+2 forever.

I'd start by building my bankroll to at least $30,000. Maybe start at 3/6.

Ahh, do you have three thousand, or two thousand? If 3, I would start at 3/6 6-max until you get to $4000, then jump to 5/10 6max until you get to 8,000, then 10/20 6max until you have about 15,000, then maybe 20/40 full, at $20,000-25,000 you can give 30/60 a try. The key to all this though is dropping back down if you are losing. Also, read, read, read!!

Theory of Poker
HPFAP
Weighing the Odds
Real Poker, Play of the Hands
How Good Is Your Limit Poker

And many others.

First of all, you are not intelligent enough to beat 1/2 if you read 2+2 and poker books for 5 years. You are definately the worst player I have ever seen play.

Second, the guy you stole those 2000 bucks from probably wants it back.

I'd sit at a 30/60 table with 2000, and pray for luck.
