Chicago $3-6 Pineappe Donk Fest?

Resorts is spreading $3-6 Pineapple (rotating the three variations). A few 2+2'ers played it yesterday, and it was fun enough that it might be fun to take over the table with a bunch more.

Anybody game? I'll ask them if they can set us up a table some time if there's ~8-10 of us.*

*This will have to be an off-peak time, as they are full several nights a week, including Fri-Sat. Maybe a Sunday afternoon game...

I can think of nothing more depressing than playing at a 3-6 table in Resorts with a $6 rake and 9 other 2+2ers.

If it were a serious game, I'd agree. You missed the donk-fest part. Alcohol + loose game + low stakes = fun.

Where'd you get $6 rake?

The only Pineapple I know of is where your dealt 3 cards and discard one on the flop. What are the other two variations?

Pineapple: Dealt 3 cards. Round of betting. All players discard one card. Flop is dealt.

Crazy Pineapple: Dealt 3 cards. Round of betting. Flop is dealt. All players discard one card.

Lazy Pineapple: Dealt 3 cards. These are kept until the river, where you may use 2 of your 3 cards to make your hand (an effective river discard).

I have a 90 minute drive to East Chicago, so I couldn't imagine buring it up to play a silly game against people who play beter drunk that most play sober.

As for the $6 rake, are they not setting up a bad beat for Pineapple?

No bad beat, max rake is under $5 IIRC.
