Default never sure how to deal with this one

Villian is a complete unknown, just sat down at the table. Should I raise this flop and get to showdown as cheaply as possible or just ditch it and wait for next time?

This is a pretty good spot to raise the flop and plan on betting the turn and checking the river behind.

That's my default until I know the opponent is passive. I was just wondering if it should be the other way around. Wait until he proves he'll bet draws and low pairs here before I start raising.

3rd player in the hand makes this the best line if you want to continue. Sometimes HU, calling down can be fine.

Here's the other two likely scenarios:
SB is 26/7/2.67 - VPIP/PFR/PFA

Flop: (6 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB folds, BB raises, Hero ?

Flop: (6 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB raises, Hero ?

What's the plan for both?
