First instinct is that you go to Penn State....if so, congratulations. If not, sorry, sucks for you.

Regarding your situation, I'm not quite sure what you are looking for after reading your post. It seems like your priorities fluctuate between big banging, and having a worthwhile girlfriend.

If sex is priority number one, no matter if you're at PSU or some other Big 10 school, break away from this girl....as long as you go to college, big 10, big 12, SEC, whatever, sex isn't hard to find.

But if this girl is someone whose company you really enjoy, let her take her time. I guarantee you it will be worth it in the end. She's been "pure" for what 18 19 years? it's a big step for her. and a truly great girl is worth alot more than any single big bang is. Much more rewarding.

just my two cents.

you a PSU student? if not, I apologize for beating that azz, football style

my first, instant guess is UMich. anything else doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

It means hitting it.

this is my perspective too, which made the OP look funny to me

It might be regional because in NJ when you say 'hooking up' it usually means specifically less than sex, so if someone says 'I hooked up with her' you know that no sex was involved. If sex was involved then you need to say something like 'banged' or 'nailed'.

I thought he had fun hanging out with her, but that she calls a little too much. That's not exactly the same as finding her annoying.

IMO, it has a lot more to do with OP than the girl.

my impression from this is largely based on reality television, i think. every time 'hook up' is mentioned between cast members, it specifically means 'they had sex'.

This is true for me as well. Usually, 'hooked up' means specifically, 'made out with' and little else. I'm from PA, and I haven't even known of the alternative meaning until very recently.
