Default Tilly wins - good or bad for poker in the long run?

Sure, poker gets EVEN MORE press. Great! you think. But I wonder if this win will cement poker more firmly as a *fad* in new or non-player's heads.

What do you think?

Choice C. No impact whatsoever.

How could this possibly be bad?

Good - Means even more players will throw their money out their thinking they have a chance.

Couldn't agree more...

But no one thinks this could be bad. I'm not talking about tomorrow. I'm talking about the LONG RUN.

I wonder if this will bring corporate sponsorship to the game... anyone have thoughts on this?? Once players start getting sponsorships for watches and booze, I believe that's a sign that the game is truly etched into our culture's fabric.

i choose option C, doesn't matter. name 3 movies she has been in. tough isn't it? bound and umm....i cannot name any others. seed of chucky? if she were a big-name actress, it may have a bigger impact. this does nothing for poker other than "oh hey cool some chick that has done 1 good movie won a bracelet."

We need someone like Ben Affleck or Toby Maguire to win one. If Ben made it to the final table at the WPT, the ratings would have been stupid.

As long as they're dressed up as either Spiderman or Daredevil, I'm OK with it
