Oops! Sorry, I posted the wrong hand. Let's see if we can find the right one...
Can't find it. Sorry. But it was something like this: Hero is in BB Villain is unknown in UTG. UTG calls. All fold to Hero who check with T6. Flop is AcQs6s. Hero bets. UTG calls Turn is blank Hero ? |

Re: Standard hand. Opponent is unknown. Do you bet the turn?
I check and fold against an unknown. The pot is really small and I don't want to spend another 2 BB to see a showdown.
If I had a read that he would call with any hand on the flop I might bet again on the turn. |

replace the Q with a blank and maybe bet again, for the most part i dont invest more than a SB in these spots.

Re: Standard hand. Opponent is unknown. Do you bet the turn?
I check-fold the turn. If I bet and he calls, I am stuck putting in one more bet on the river because there are so many busted draws he could have that at that point that I want to show my hand down. It sucks to pay two big bets to show down our crappy hand, so I am okay with giving up on the turn especially because when I am ahead, he often has plenty of outs anyway. If I bet, I think he may raise reasonably often in which case I can't call, so I am often just giving this bet away. Really everything about this situation sucks.
