Questionable - KTs in SB
Second hand at a table with 3 unknowns.
K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the SB. UTG/CO limps, Btn folds, I raise, and BB and limper call Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I bet, both call. Turn is another 8 and I check, BB bets, and limper and I fold. My questions are, should I just complete this here in the SB, any point in betting the flop, and the is the turn an easy c/f? Thanks. Re: Questionable - KTs in SB
I usually just complete here.
Postflop is fine. |

Re: Questionable - KTs in SB
You are risking 1 BB to potentially win 6 BB if you hit your straight. 8%
Sometimes you hit a K or a T, and win 6, but sometimes lose 2. 12% of the time Most of the time you will pay 1, not improve. 80% When this happens, most of the time he will bet, and you will fold. Sometimes he will check, and you will check, but you will still lose. I think overall this equates to folding, but I don't wanna do all the math. |

[ QUOTE ]
I usually just complete here. [/ QUOTE ] Really? 4 handed and a CO limper? I think your equity is by far high enough to raise. |

Not raising this preflop woudl be really, really bad.

Re: Questionable - KTs in SB
How do we feel about our hand if the turn is a T? What's a good line OOP vs. 2 with 3rd pair good kicker?

Re: Questionable - KTs in SB
I would argue that not raising here gives us better options postflop.
Not saying raisings bad, but I usually complete here. Whats everyones cut off if they raise? |

Re: Questionable - KTs in SB
I think I raise A6+, A4s+, 66+, KTo+, KT9s+, QJ, JTs, and maybe QTs if I'm feeling saucy and villians like to fold.

Re: Questionable - KTs in SB
I wouldn't raise PF vs. 2 unknown limpers who both have position on you. Postflop is fine, but PF makes no sense to raise without reads. Your typical online fish has a wide limping range, but the chances that you are behind to Ax or a small-med PP or a better K is fairly good.
