Default Deep stacks stars MTT question

How long do they take? Say there are 500 players playing it.

Too long, I get bored so I get massages while I play.

It usually fills up (1100 ppl, yes there is a limit and it fills every week). I cashed a couple weeks ago and it took 7 hours and to win it I'd say somewhere between 9 and 11 hours)

If you make it to the final table you are looking at 12 hours roughly... Got 17th, 40th, and 60th so far, takes forever. Some people enjoy it, some don't. Bottom line, there is less luck so most of your typical on-line MTTers don't like it. Order a pizza, get some beer and watch some football while you fold.

yeah. last week was the first time i did it. took about 10 hours to get 20 or 21 i forget. i liked it, just seemed like it shoulda been more than a $30 buyin, so it was pretty frustrating to play so long and need to finish top few spots to win much.

I agree, I'd love it if they made this +100 bucks. Nevertheless I cant resist the deep stacks, so Im playing.

Too long. Great tourny if you're planning to be up all night playing something else, but it gets really boring if you single table it. About 12-13 hour till we have a winner.

I mostly play limit, and notice that I only have an edge on average MTT-players when the stacks are deep (using limit skills like position, deception and implied odds). The limit skills seems to be less important when the stacks get short and I feel an underdog then to the preflop SNG&MTT-mathematicians.
