So, finally everything turns out well
Seems that Party's move targetted mainly the skins themselves and not so much the rb multitablers or even their affiliates...
At least that's what the latest mails in my inbox are saying. |

Re: So, finally everything turns out well
But on the bonus side, those who were used to having a Party plus an Empire bonus every month, now have a good Party bonus, and an Empire bonus on a much tighter site (not nearly so good anymore).
Net: fewer soft-site bonuses each month. |

Re: So, finally everything turns out well
On the other hand, Empire et al will have to do more to attract/ retain customers. So this could mean that the single promotion has a bit less value but that there will be more of them.
Both, Party and most of their skins (Empire for sure, possibly Multipoker and Eurobet but to a way lesser extent Intertops and PokerNow), have some incentive/ maneuvering room to engage into a promotional war. Another most welcome effect for me personally is "bye bye Eurotrash and your buggy cashier as well as your incapability of sending Tourney summaries directly to my HD". |

Re: So, finally everything turns out well
A very competetive war for customers between empire and party could be a good thing. How good the games on the detached skins will be I really can't predict right now.
Who sent the mails, party or your affs? |

[/ QUOTE ] The situation is dramatically differnet for empire though. They are a publically traded company now. Before Saturday they made $x per day and after Saturday we all can agree that they will be making substantially less than $x per day maybe as much as 1/2. Heads will roll. And people will have an incentive to prevent the loss of their jobs. They will do anything to keep up the volume of play at the site and the only way to do that short term is to offer regular bonuses ala absolute. |
