ESPN Insider problems

Ok, I'm probably just a big dumb idiot, but here's the situation. I currently have a subscription to ESPN the magazine, but when I tried to sign for Insider access on the webpage, it took me to a page that makes me put in my credit card number for automatic renewal of my magazine subscription once it's over. Is there any way to get Insider content without doing this?
