Re: PP 15/30 river action?
I don't think you have any value here whatsoever. A cold-calling MP that double donks isn't check-calling the river with A high (hoping to induce some sort of bluff from who knows what). If MP2 was on any draw, then he missed and will fold to your bet. If he has some piece of the lower board (my guess), then you're just throwing away money if you bet. I certaintly don't think you're getting a better hand to fold, as by just calling the turn, the MP will already "put" you on an AK/AJ sort of hand.

Re: PP 15/30 river action?
Looks like the easiest check in the world. If you bet, you are bluffing. Since you have played your hand exactly like AK, you are highly unlikely to fold a pair. Since you have played your hand like AT LEAST AK, you are unlikely to be called by a worse hand.
Check and it's not close. You can bet here only in a game where you know your opponent, and your opponent knows you, and you know that he knows you would never be so foolish as to bet AK here, because he's seen you check it down time after time, and... edit: by the way, the fact that you can't fold a pair is exactly why you should value bet middle pocket pairs here. |

i checked of course. didn't realize how uninteresting it was until i got over the confusion of being shown AKo by villain.

if villain played AK like that, then there's a very good chance he's calling the river bet anyhow.
