Uhh... just so you know, a spammer would never use his own email address.

I think the better question is, once you get on one of those lists (ahh the good old Party rakeback scamming days), how the hell do you get off?

If you want to get back at the guy, try scam baiting.

In these cases, the perpetrators are actually checking their e-mail boxes for a reply. They intend to develop a relationship with the mark and extract money from him/her.

There are websites devoted to tales (and transcripts) of reverse-scamming these scammers. I haven't read them for ages, but I'm sure another OOTer knows.

This seems like a very mean-spirited and petty thing to do, my friend.

Hath not a Nigerian eyes? Hath not a Nigerian hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions; fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, healed by the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer as a OOTiot is? If you prick us do we not bleed? If you tickle us do we not laugh? If you poison us do we not die? And if you wrong us shall we not revenge? If we are like you in the rest, we will resemble you in that. If a Nigerian wrong an OOTiot, what is his humility? Revenge. If an OOTiot wrong a Nigerian, what should his sufferance be by OOTiot example? Why, revenge. The villany you teach me I will execute, and it shall go hard but I will better the instruction.
