Sucks? I won a 7 BB pot with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. That's greater than the expected value of 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Also, I didn't face the BB with two cold as he 3-bet the flop!

how does that suck? the poster won the hand with Ace high! Great semi bluff...you may have easily gotten a better hand to fold. A hand like this happened to me once. I was on button, BB and early limper in the hand. Us 3. Flop is rags...bb bets, limper raises, i 3 bet and they all fold. I guess bb was weak, limper was completely bluffing. Oh well...great play imo. The beauty of the semi-bluff.

Had he flopped the flush, I would agree.

However, I would reckon that he didn't have the best hand at the time (this could be wrong). Even if he did have the best hand though, his equity was likely nothing near 100%, probably not even 50%. Yet he took down the pot. A profitable turn of events in my opinion.
