JJ in early position, good flop
Pacific Poker, $25 NL, .25 BB's, 9-handed
Hero ($13.85) Villain ($8.30) Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero raises to 1.00 (should I go more here?) 3 callers, SB completes Flop ($5 pot) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets $3 MP (short stack) pushes all-in for $7.30 Hero ??? Here it's a $4.30 bet to me, with 14.60 in the pot, giving me roughly 1:3.4 odds Results: Hero calls, and wins pot. Villain doesn't show cards. Is this standard? Not only did villain call my UTG preflop raise, but raised my flop bet. Of course he was short stacked and these are low-limit games, so................ Should I have re-raised all-in (only $5 more) to help isolate this opponent? |

Re: JJ in early position, good flop
I assume the players in between folded. If they did, this is an easy call. Also, I would probably pot this flop.

I assume this is a fold with another person calling? (JJ is pretty bad multiway) I was short-stacked, so was a little cautious about betting the full pot. |
