Food for thought:

Patrick Del Poker Grande's cowbell avatar ( ) has been cranking along in his avatar for as long as I can remember. I'm gonna assume he's had it since he signed up his account (is this wrong?) and that his posts have been distributed evenly over his entire stay here.

So he has about 6200posts/510 days = 12 posts/day.
The best estimate I can get for the cowbell's clank rate is 0.4s/bell or about 215000 bells/day.

If we assume that each of the avatar pictures exists whether a thread is being read or not (I don't want to get into the metaphysics of the cowbell, that's a whole other discussion), then his posts have been up for a total of 12+2*12+3*12+...510*12 days, which is about 1.5 million days combined.

So that cowbell has gone off a total of (1.5 million)*215000 = 3.4e11 times.

Now that is alot of cowbell.
