Default pokerstars 6 max tables

no one plays with 200 at the NL 1-2 6 max tables. Everyone buys in for 80 or even less.

For some reason poker stars doesnt like rake because they give everyone the primary option of buying in for 80, as oppposed to buying in for 200. Why would that do that?

I cant find a table with more than 2 people with 200 or more dollars. makes it tough to take down big pots when your table is filled with players at 20, 40 and 60 dollars.

The good thing about the pokerstars tables is that the players are far more passive. They are much more likely to respect a bet and lay down a hand than at party.

I don't play NL, but it seems to me that this would be a good thing. Having twice the stack most others do wouldn't you be able to push them around more and buy more pots?

not really in this situation. ie if the small stacks were 150BB and the large stack was 500BB you'd be able to move people off of their top pair good kicker or 2 pair as most sensible NL players don't go out Calling off 100BB with top pair or bottom 2.

But in this case the shorter stacks make it easier to play top pair for shortys. You're not going to make a move on someone when they the $60 and the blinds are $2 I believe. It's relatively easy to play top pair with 30BB
