Hi Nicky:

Two Plus Two operates very differently from your typical book publisher. Because of this, we can get a book to publication much quicker than most other publishers.

best wishes,
Mason

Yeah, the editors don't bother looking for grammatical flaws.

That speeds things up quite a bit.

I'm sure we spend more time in that area than any other publisher in our field.

Whether or not you spend a lot of time in that area, I have found that, overall, most how-to books by other publishers are at least somewhat better than 2+2's in the area of grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. As far as usable information goes, well, that's usually another story.

And if you include books along the lines of Fifth Street and The Biggest Game in Town, I sincerely doubt that you spend as much time on grammar, etc., as their publishers did.

Maybe I should submit a manuscript and find out just how much time you spend on this stuff.

Mason and Al Schoonmaker both have spent many hours editing my stuff for style, punctuation, spelling, and so on. My writing is far better now than it was before I started, and it is because Al ripped my first few sections apart.

This is true. It's not a huge deal, but it is true.
