The games are highly beatable. Look around 10am weekdays. I often find 8 tables over 28%vpip of witch 3-5 may be over 30%. Even on the tighter tables the majority of the players play very poorly post flop. Over the last few months while ppl continue to complain about the 3/6 full games getting tougher my winrate continues to climb.

Bad beat jacktops tables are absolutely awful. Sucks you can't play them with rakeback though.

The other tables are a bit tighter than they used to be, but its not like they're filled with sharks or anything now.

This is exactly my dilemma these days. Which is better, BBJ tables with no rakeback, or normal tables with rakeback? Hmmm...

i'm gonna say normal tables with rakeback, and it's not close. you're losing out significantly from not having rakeback, and you're also losing out significantly from paying the extra rake for the BBJ. I'm in the camp that it's not even worth the extra rake for the BBJ tables, the regular 3/6 games are juicy enough as it is.

this is generally correct.

you are probably losing 1-2BB//hr by foregoing the rake-back.

If you can make 1BB/hr on the 'regular' tables WITH rake-back then you need to be able to make AT LEAST 2-3BB/hr on the BBJ tables to make up for the loss of rake-back.

Of course, the 'extra' rake there isn't really 'extra'. If the jackpot is big enough then the extra $0.50 per hand is actually +EV based on your slim chances of actually hitting the damn thing.

I do play the BBJ tables though. But that's partly due to it just being kinda big when I also happen to have a bonus to clear (or I need extra raked-hands for more chips for the upcoming PPM semi-finals).
So, in my case, I'm going to occasionally play some non-rakeback hands at Party anyway so the BBJ isn't SO bad.

The players there CAN be quite bad even all the way up to 15/30.

But it is certainly not going to directly make up for the loss of rake-back on the skins because rake-back should be worth around a full BB/hr much of the time.
