Range of hands you defend from SB
Based on comparing my stats to others, I'm folding my SB too much to a steal raise. I'm wondering what range of hands you guys 3 bet with?
My VPIP is too low (17-19) and I'm hoping this will help. My BB defense looks pretty reasonable compared to others (50-52). |

Re: Range of hands you defend from SB
This is opponent and blind structure dependant of course. But I will usually 3-bet from the small blind with something around ATo, or 66 (somewhere around my UTG standards). If the button is a big LAG who pretty much auto steals I'll loosen those up, going down on occasion to something like A8o, QTo, and small pairs.
Sometimes I'll cold-call with hands like QJs, TJs if the BB is loose and can be expected to come along. Cold calling is much more common for me at the 15/30 w/ the 10 sb, was rare at 5/10. B. |

I know that I'm too tight here (66-69), but I don't really know where I should start opening up, and which types of hands I should start be adding. I have a decent idea for which hands play best HU, but in spots where the button, or SB is already in so that I'll have a 3-way pot I'm still a little fuzzy. |
