Default What\'s the Monte Carlo/Bellagio tram/monorail situation?

So has the tram that ran between Monte Carlo and Bellagio been replaced with the monorail? I'm trying to decide where to stay for next month and MC is an option. I see that one ride on the monorail is $3 which sucks compared to the free tram that used to be there.

The tram between the Bellagio and MC got removed because it was in the way of the new tower that Bellagio is building. I am wondering if they will bring it back once construction is complete or if it is gone for good.

It's not that long of a walk.

Thats what I was thinking. It's been a couple of years - but aren't they next door practically?

There are no Mega resorts in between, but it's still a good 10 minute walk, and that can be annoying if it's 110 degs outside. Or if you are drunk and can't walk 10 meters straight.

I hear that the MC to Bellagio tram will open again after the construction of the new bellagio tower finishes.
