Yep, that is my situation as well.
Back when I pre-ordered, I got an email stating they would wait and mail both books at once.
Received the package, no SSH!
(invoice states it is backordered)

I got the worst possible outcome, waiting a month for the other book, that they could have shipped right away if they had been planning on shipping in different shipments.

Ditto - I order when it was frist announced. Unfortunately,
I order another book through ConJelCo to try and support this forum thinking the authors would get to keep more of the proceeds.

Isure hope IT is waiting for me when I get home, then again, I could always just reread my original copy of IT to tide me over if the new IT is not there. I guess IT will be an agaonizing few hours until I get home and look for IT.

I don't know how to reply to these complaints except to state that I worked out a last minute deal to get SSH to you as fast as possible. (Faster than would otherwise have been the case by at least two days.) A side-effect is that some other items have shown up sooner than they otherwise would have.

This was a decision which was supposed to show good customer service at the expense of profitability. I guess I got the equation wrong somehow...but I still don't know how.

I ordered my SSH from Professional and I got an order form from them that says they shipped it out on Saturday. (2-3 day shipping) I can't wait to read this sucker. I just reread Theory of Poker again to brush up on the flow of 2plus2 books.. I hope everyone gets it soon.

Economic theory makes the assumption of rational behaviour on the part of the consumer. You are laboring under the same false assumption. The people who are whining about not having the book yet are the same ones who discussed the details of the book in depth before it was printed.

People who do ESP book reviews also expect warp speed delivery. I think that most of us here are a little more grounded in reality, and appreciate your good work. Keep it up.
